At St. James & St. John, pupils must wear the correct uniform each school day.
Our school uniform can be ordered from www.stitchdesign.co.uk
All uniforms should be clearly labelled with the child’s name. In the event that clothing is mislaid, it will be returned to your child's class teacher if found.
Hair and Jewellery
Items of jewellery are unsuitable for primary school pupils to wear during the school day. Rings, necklaces, brooches and earrings should be left at home. Please ensure that pupils with pierced ears wear only studs to school. Any other piercing is not permitted e.g. nose and eyebrow. Hair that is shoulder length or longer needs to be tied back or secured with an alice band. Small hair bands, scrunchies and slides should be red, grey or black.
Please do not send your child to school with extreme hair fashions, including dyed hair, closely shaven hair or images or shapes cut into the hair.

If you do not choose to buy a school jacket, your child must wear a plain black coat. The school baseball cap is the only cap that may be worn.
If your child chooses to wear wellington boots, or winter boots on the way to school, please bring their black school shoes to school for your child to change into before school starts. The boots will need to be taken home, as will any umbrellas.
