Discipline & Behaviour

"Pupils told inspectors that the good behaviour seen in and around the school during the inspection was typical of behaviour generally. They understand and generally respond well to the clear classroom rewards systems. They reported that lessons are very rarely interrupted. Pupils are polite and welcoming to visitors."

Ofsted Report March 2012

This is due to our dedicated staff and our comprehensive discipline and behaviour policy that is implemented throughout the school. This policy is intended to inform all involved with the school, including visitors and temporary staff, of the behaviour we expect and of the ways in which we feel appropriate behaviour can be achieved. St James & St. John wishes to encourage children to co-exist peacefully and amicably in order that they achieve their full potential now and in the future.

For more information on school rules please have a look at the St. James & St. John Discipline & Behaviour Policy.
